::parisian portals::

i’m working on booking our apartment in paris for our trip later this year. sorry for the multiple mentions. but i’m out of this world excited! we spent some time saturday perusing travel books at b&n, and it made everything seem so real. i’m ready to leave this minute!

on that note i found the paris market {from whence these images were acquired} and am seriously going to print every post and map out every quaint spot noted.

i can’t get enough of old european doors. we just don’t have anything as antiquated as things in europe, and the architecture of doors and windows is such a fun place to note europe’s unique antique intricacies.

    Ah yes! Beautiful typical Parisian portals but with more color! I like these, Erin!

    Erin, I’m so glad you will get to go to Paris! Even though it was many, many years ago that we moved back to the States from Europe, still I miss the architecture of Europe! Yes, everything here looks SO VERY STRAIGHT after you become accustomed to European buildings. I agree! The doors are a big part of the charm!

    Keep us posted on all your adventures of planning! I haven’t been to Paris in a LONG time! What memories! It’s fun to relive them through your eyes and emotions! Keep on sharing, Erin!

    Love you,
