Want. But we’ve already established I have a sunglasses fetish.

Once it stopped being 40 and nearly freezing my fingers and toes off, today was so sunny and perfect and breezy and springy! And I hope you got to go outside and enjoy it!

My new favorite breakfast coming to a food blog near you on Friday.

Meanwhile, you have these sweet and simple shots to savor.

Breakfast is my favorite meal. Love savoring a slow morning, a big breakfast, a rising sun, waking birds and the prospect of a fresh day.

Random? Yes. Happy Sunday. Sometimes Sundays feel like this. A little pensive, a little melancholy. Sleepy and hoping the afternoon will move slowly and the Monday won’t come.

Found these two pictures separately but close enough together for me to chuckle over the repetition of such a curious theme.

love living in the music mecca where it’s so easy to find new bands AND see them live. here are some i enjoyed discovering this week. after the wine and cheese tasting outside whole foods, my favorite event of the week was quite honestly the kgsr morning broadcast. it was comfortable, laid back and i got to see emmylou harris AND was surprised to be in the same room as {eek!} taylor hanson! {cue 5th grade hearthrob}

matt & kim – did not see them this week. feel in love with them at acl, and every song of theirs is great. love good ol’ fashioned nightmare, dash after dash, daylight, don’t slow down, spare change and blazing dynamite. chose yea yeah’s video because you get to see what a stud of a drummer kim is.

ellie goulding – she was on my list, found her from a free starbucks itunes card {which are so great btw} and i didn’t make it. she was going to play a 45 min set, i was going to have to leave for dinner plans with T. right after, missing matt & kim, parking would be a beast, at a place i’d been to earlier in the week, already waited in line two hours at and rumor has it the line was even more ridic this last day. maybe she’ll come to acl… maybe by then i will have a bike with which i can BIKE to all these events.

Just got some of these for our back patio. Pretty sure they’ll require a table. Then we’ll be good to go to enjoy some spring evenings with the grill and the hammock!

Remember my zinc top tables?

Pottery Barn would just add this gem for much more pretty of a penny than I’m willing to spend on outdoor furniture…

I do think this is fun. though. From Crate & Barrel.

I’ll keep you posted.

Just some things I’ve been eyeing. Some ideas for wardrobe sprucing as the sun comes out and the temps climb…

Need me some lake with friends. Looking back, and as I get to know other cities, the more I realize how fantastic it was to get to grow up in Austin. It was pretty legit we got to spend Spring Break and summer days on Lake Austin.

Some other gems…

Or a sunny beach. I need sun. Ready to wear my pastels without looking sickly.

Oh and hey there dream boots. It’s spring now so feel free to go on sale.
